Ypenburg: it's glory and ways to improve!

After 11 years of living here, I think Ypenburg has a very cozy and lively environment. I really like the greenness (trees, plants, bushes, little parks) of Ypenburg's neighborhood. I also like to see the international cultures that Ypenburg stands on, but these should be more openly accepted. I think this could be done by having more different cultured restaurants or having more bars! I think that including one or two bars in the Ypenburg centrum could really liven up the youth of the neighborhood and open each other up to more non-Dutch people as well as to more Dutch people. This way there is more integration as well! Also, I think that Ypenburg could have more recycling bins for the neighborhood, for example, glass, and metal. There could be more bins for used clothes so people can give away to others who need them. Moreover, Ypenburg could really benefit from having more benches around different places in the neighborhood! Not only does this allow ALL age groups to sit down for a bit to rest or just chit chat and hang out, but also it will stimulate more people to want to go out and move because they will know they have the more frequent opportunity to sit down and rest outside! I also think that the parking spaces that are on the streets (not private ones) should be free from earlier than it is now. That way the household owners can park their car(s) there and let it be more convenient for the neighborhood community. Moreover, I think that there could be even more trees planted, there is never too much green and nature, especially since it's very good for our health ultimately. I think that something that's the very signature of Ypenburg is that MANY people have dogs which are wonderful for my own 2 dogs to meet and just to see around when walking in the neighborhood. However, the recently imposed tax fees on owning dogs should be banned. This dog tax causes many dogs to go back to shelters or be thrown out of the house which is incredibly unethical and sad.
